Plans and the free trial

Your content

What you write in Papertray stays yours. You let us store, copy and display it only to run the service for you and for the people you share with. When you share a project or area, everyone you invite can see and change the to-dos in it, and its owner can see who did what if they're on a Team plan. Only share with people you trust, and remove people you no longer want to have access.

Fair use

Don't use Papertray to break the law, to store or share content that infringes others' rights or is abusive, to send spam through invites, or to try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, overload the service, or work around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.

The service

Papertray is a young product that keeps changing. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may add, change or remove features; if we take away something you've paid for, we'll tell you first and you can cancel. You can stop using Papertray at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close accounts that break these terms, and we'll give 30 days' notice before closing the service as a whole, so you can take your data with you.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, write to first; most things can be fixed quickly. Consumers in Portugal can also use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico and can take a dispute to the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC), an alternative dispute resolution body. These terms are governed by Portuguese law; if you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live and can go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before. If you don't agree, you can stop using Papertray and cancel before the change applies.
